The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with strong project architect skills and have 7-10 years of local experience in Residential Architecture and wood frame construction. Job Description:
•   Generate technical drawings for Rezoning, Design Development, and Building Permit phases.
•   Develop Construction Contract Documents.
•   Support Code and Zoning Reviews.
•   Collaborate in coordinating the Consultant Team.
•   Assist during the Construction Administration phase.

•   Proficiency in Vectorworks and Mac environment.
•   Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
•   A deep passion for delivering top-notch architectural design.
•   Self-motivated, proactive, and adept at task prioritization.
•   Ability to thrive under tight deadlines.
•   Adaptable and open to changing design directions as needed.

•   Attend site meetings, prepare site reports, and deficiency lists.
•   Ensure that design intent is maintained throughout construction.
•   Discuss with PM any changes that may affect design intent or code compliance.
•   Assist PM with the production and coordination of construction documents.
•   Assist PM with client and consultant coordination.
•   Keep project records up-to-date.
•   Work on multiple projects concurrently.
•   Stay updated with construction methods, products, codes, and technological advancements.

•   Experience with Vectorworks and SketchUp.
•   Comprehensive understanding of current building codes: BCBC and VBBL.
•   Ability to meet tight project deadlines. Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
•   Must possess a valid BC driver’s license and have their own vehicle for site visits.
•   Eligibility to work in BC.
