CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATOR
We are seeking a Construction Administrator to join our creative team for a full-time position. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of local experience in Construction Administration in the Residential sector, is a self-starter, and works well with others. Job Description:
• Work closely with Project Manager (PM) and project teams.
• Attend site meetings, prepare site reports, and deficiency lists.
• Ensure that design intent has been carried out throughout construction.
• Review and discuss with PM all changes that may affect design intent or code compliance.
• Assist PM with production and coordination of construction documents.
• Assist PM with client and consultant coordination.
• Maintain up-to-date project records.
• Work on multiple projects concurrently.
• Stay current with construction methods, products, codes, and technological advancements.
Qualifications:
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Architecture or Technical program.
• 5 + years of local experience conducting on-site visits, preparing site reports for high-rise residential, multifamily, and mixed-use developments.
• 5 + years of experience with multi-family wood frame construction.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Experience with Vectorworks and SketchUp.
• Thorough understanding of current building codes: BCBC and VBBL.
• Strong ability to meet tight project deadlines.
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
• Must possess a valid BC driver’s license and must have their own vehicle for site visits.
• Eligible to work in BC.
• Experience with Vectorworks and SketchUp is an asset.
• Thorough understanding of the BCBC and VBBL
• Strong ability to meet tight project deadlines

• Must possess a valid driver’s license

TECHNOLOGIST
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Architectural Technologist to join our creative team for a full-time position. The ideal candidate has 7-10 years of local experience in Residential Architecture and wood frame construction. You will be a self-starter and have strong project architect skills. Job Description:
• Create technical drawings for Rezoning, Design Development, and Building Permit phases.
• Develop Construction Contract Documents.
• Support Code and Zoning Reviews.
• Collaborate in coordinating the Consultant Team.
• Assist during the Construction Administration phase.
Hard Skills:
• Proficiency in Vectorworks and Mac environment.
• 7-10 years of local architectural experience.
• Familiarity with current BC building codes: BCBC and VBBL.
• Knowledge of wood fame and concrete construction.
• Knowledge of the City of Vancouver's bylaws and processes is a plus.
• Experience in large-scale residential/multifamily and mixed-use projects is a plus.
